Keith Deller MBE provides his best bets for Saturday night's second Grand Slam of Darts quarter-final tie between Jermaine Wattimena v Luke Littler.
Jermaine Wattimena v Luke Littler
Saturday 16th November
Luke Littler should be brimming with confidence as he gears up for Saturday's last eight showdown with Jermaine Wattimena.
'The Nuke' was starring down the barrel of elimination against the classy Mike De Decker on Thursday night, but somehow found it within himself to turn things around and come through a deciding leg shootout.
Luke is the big favourite here, understandably, but Jermaine likes upsetting the odds - he has proven that over the course of the week.
There were one or two little chinks in the armour of Littler on Thursday which Jermaine will have spotted, and he will want to get after his man early doors.
If Luke does get into the ascendency in that first mini session, then it could be worrying times for Wattimena, but I don't feel that will be the case - I think it will be a pretty tight affair.
I envisage this one going over 27 legs, so I am backing Jermaine to reach the 12 leg marker, whilst I am also pulled in by the price for 19 or more maximums in the match.
Again, like the other quarter-final on Saturday, this should be littered with 180s, so there is definitely value to be found here.
That 170 finish is tickling my fancy again as well, just like it is in the Gary Anderson v Gian van Veen match, and I also wouldn't rule Luke Littler out from landing a nine-darter.
He's already been close to it on a couple of occasions this week and we all know that he loves to produce fireworks when he toes the oche!
Odds will display when markets are live.
