Jeremy Corbyn has drifted from odds-on at 4/9 to odds-against at 6/5 to hold onto his seat of Islington North at the upcoming general election, where the former Labour leader will stand as an independent.
Expected to be announced around 3am, it will be one of the most interesting seats to watch on election night. Islington North has only even been won by Labour candidates since 1937 and is one of the party's safest seats.
Only briefly was the seat held by a non-Labour MP when Michael O'Halloran defected to the Social Democratic Party in 1981, losing his seat to Corbyn in 1983.
In the 2017 general election when Corbyn was bidding to become the first Labour Prime Minister since Gordon Brown, Labour won 73% of the vote, taking 64.3% in 2019.
Recent polling suggests Labour are primed to retake the seat at 8/13 having been 13/8, with the Liberal Democrats third favourites at 40/1.
