Ahead of the new season, CLG have made a number of changes to their roster, putting more time and money into young, homegrown talent.
Rookie AD carry Fatih "Luger" Guven has, for example, been drafted in, while most of their squad only came together in late 2021.
Despite this, the team made a fairly solid start to the LCS Lock In this month, dismantling Immortals in a 24-minute win in their first match.
Youngster "Luger" even went deathless in that first match against an Immortals team with decent prospects for the new season.
But CLG did lose their follow-up contest with Evil Geniuses, showing that there is still work to do.
Speaking before the matches, "Jenkins" felt optimistic about the new campaign.
Regarding the team's preparations for the season, "Jenkins" said: "We've been scrimming for about a week and I feel that we have all been a pretty good match for one another so far. I'm pretty excited for the season.
"I actually live with Luger and Palafox at the moment, but everyone always comes to the office every day, so we do see each other every day.
"Come support us. I'm sure we'll do great things this season."
