NBA - US Sports: Jazz guard retains confidence

Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson remains confident his team can fight their way back into their first round series against Dallas Mavericks after falling 2-1 behind.

Game 4 takes place in Salt Lake City on Saturday and Utah are 10/11 to win with a -6 handicap in the Point Spread, while Dallas can be backed at 2/1 in the Money Line.

Utah made fine start

The Jazz won the opener and looked well placed to claim a convincing series win as Dallas star Luka Doncic was unavailable due to a calf injury.

Doncic has missed the first three games, but the Mavs rallied with back-to-back wins and they may well be boosted by the return of their All-Star guard on Saturday as he is now listed as questionable.

Clarkson piles on the pressure

Clarkson says Game 4 is a "must-win" clash for Utah but he insists they believe they can fight their way back into the series after a pair of disappointing losses.

"All of us are focused. I don't think any of us are down," said Clarkson, as reported by Desert News. "We haven't lost confidence or anything. I think our confidence is where it needs to be."

"It is not like we coming out here and not putting in [the] effort to do something," he added. "Those guys [the Mavs] are playing well and doing a good job of doing things right now, and that is a credit to those guys. We gotta figure out the adjustments and kinda knock them off what they doing. ... We gotta turn it around."
