22-year-old defender Branthwaite enjoyed a breakout season for Everton in the Premier League in 2023/24, with only Arsenal keeping more clean sheets in England's top flight than the Toffees' tally of 13.
At 6ft 5ins, Branthwaite is extremely aerially dominant and is a threat from set-pieces - scoring three Premier League goals for Everton in 2023/24.
The Carlisle United academy graduate is also very accomplished with the ball at his feet, and his left-footedness is likely to make him an attractive commodity to Europe's top clubs.
Branthwaite's performances for Everton have not gone unnoticed, with Manchester United having been most heavily linked with making a big-money swoop.
Everton's Merseyside rivals Liverpool are also reportedly interested in lodging an audacious bid to bring Branthwaite to Anfield, in a move which would send shockwaves across English football.
