Japan v Australia Odds: Wallabies heavily favoured for away win

The Summer of international rugby continues this weekend, as Australia make the trip to face Japan in Higashi-osaka.

With both sides coming off almost identical Nations Championship campaigns, Saturday's fixture is an interesting one.

Both sides played Test matches against Italy, Ireland and France in their first three games of the new competition, with Italy being beaten by both and neither Japan nor Australia successful in avoiding defeat to Les Blues or the Irish.

With that in mind, let's take a look at what the odds suggest for Saturday's match between Japan and Australia.

Japan v Australia Odds

Handicap - +/-15.5

Despite their similar summer form - and the fact that Japan are hosting this fixture - Australia are overwhelming favourites to win the match, with a price of 1/9 available.

The draw is priced at 33/1, whilst a home win for the Cherry Blossoms is available at 11/2 at the time of writing.

Such is the expected gulf between the two sides, the handicap is set at 15.5 (in favour of the Wallabies), for a price of 10/11 a piece.

The shortest price for winning margin is Australia by 12+ - available for 8/11 - with a narrow 1-12 point win for Australia priced at 11/5.
