World number one Jannik Sinner gets his US Open campaign underway when he takes on American Mackenzie McDonald in New York.
Australian Open champion Sinner is aiming to add the American major to his collection and comes into the tournament off the back of a superb week which saw him clinch the Cincinnati Open title.
McDonald, ranked 119 in the world, will be hoping to use the home crowd to his advantage and put some pressure on the Italian and cause a major upset in New York.
Jannik Sinner v Mackenzie McDonald will be shown as part of bet365's live streaming service, whilst Sky Sports Tennis & Sky Sports+ are also showing selected matches from Flushing Meadows.
Jannik Sinner v Mackenzie McDonald is due to be played on Arthur Ashe on Tuesday 27th August and will start at around 19.00 BST.
Sinner will be expecting to secure a comfortable passage through to the second round as he aims to improve on his best ever performance at Flushing Meadows, which was a run to the quarter-finals back in 2022.
Sinner has come out on top in all three of his previous meetings with McDonald and is a heavy favourite to make it 4-0 in the head-to-head record.
