Jamie Vardy has announced he will be leaving Leicester City at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Posting a personal message on his Instagram account, Vardy said: "I've been here so long that I truly thought it would never end.
"This has not only been really difficult for me to write, but it's been a really difficult decision to make.
"Leicester City has been my second home, an extended family and my life for 13 years.
"The club, the city and the people mean so much to me and my family, but for me the time has come to say goodbye."
Purchased from non-league Fleetwood Town in 2012, Vardy has been a transformative figure for Leicester.
Clocking up just shy of 500 appearances and scoring nearly 200 goals, the 38-year-old fired the Foxes to their remarkable Premier League success in 2016 and played a pivotal role in their FA Cup triumph in 2021.
Vardy won the Premier League Golden Boot in 2019/20 by scoring 23 goals and also set a top-flight record for scoring in 11 consecutive matches in 2015/16, surpassing Ruud van Nistelrooy's previous tally as his goals set Claudio Ranieri's men on their path to immortality.
The former England international collected many more individual accolades, including Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year.
His most recent success with the club was the Championship title in 2023/24 as Leicester secured an immediate return to the Premier League.
Vardy's final game at the King Power Stadium will be the Premier League clash with Ipswich Town on Sunday 18th May.
While the striker has called time on his Leicester career, Vardy reiterated that he has no intention of retiring and hopes "to continue scoring goals" in his next chapter. Take a look at some of the options for Jamie Vardy's next club.
