After two years in City's academy, Gittens took the plunge and moved on to Dortmund in 2020.
Gittens made his Bundesliga debut for Dortmund in a 6-1 win for BVB over VfL Wolfsburg on 16th April 2002.
Gittens has represented England at various youth levels.
The winger was part of the England Under 19s side which won the Euros in 2022 in Slovakia, starting in the final as the Young Lions overcame Israel 3-1 after extra time.
The Dortmund prospect is currently a part of the England Under 21s set up, but is yet to be capped by his country at senior level.
