A fight that is arguably going under the radar heading into UFC 313 is Jalin Turner's clash with Ignacio Bahamondes.

Turner is a fighter on the rise, though his recent form, having lost three of his last four fights, may not suggest this, losing his most recent bout via TKO against Renato Moicano at UFC 300.

He was on the wrong end of a split decisions on back-to-back occasions in 2023, losing to Mateusz Gamrot and Dan Hooker, though he followed that up with a KO victory over Bobby Green, proving his ability to respond well to setbacks.

Overcoming Bahamondes will be no easy task, however, and his impressive victory over Manuel Torres back in September 2024 proves that.

Turner will likely be aware of the fact that Bahamondes has been awarded "Performance of the Night" in both of his last two fights, and the Chilean will be out to do it once again on a card that is eagerly anticipated by UFC watchers worldwide.

Despite coming into this fight as a slight underdog, I fancy Turner to come out on top in what could be a special night, irrespective of who emerges victorious.
