Jake Paul - Biography

Jake Paul rose to fame on the social media platform Vine before starring in the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark.

Along with his brother Logan, Jake’s fame continued to rise online, particularly on YouTube, where he hit 10,000,000 subscribers in 2017 and his popularity, especially amongst young people, continued to grow.

He surprisingly opted to pursue a career in professional boxing in 2017, citing his desire to become a world champion as the driving factor behind his decision.

Paul made his amateur bow in 2018 when he took on English YouTuber Deji Olatunji - on the same card that brother Logan fought Deji’s brother KSI - ultimately securing victory courtesy of an emphatic fifth round knockout.

He then stepped up to the professional ranks in a bout against AnEsonGib in Miami, Florida, in 2020, and has since amassed a total of 12 pro bouts, being beaten just once, by Tommy Fury, the younger half-brother of former lineal heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury.
