Hailing from the Scottish capital of Edinburgh, just over 40 miles from the home of arguably his country's greatest ever sporting star in Andy Murray in Dunblane, Jacob Fearnley is enjoying an impressive rise in the tennis ranks.
After impressing against an all-time icon of the sport in Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon last year, even taking a set off the Serb, Fearnley is now on the cusp of moving into the top 100 in the world after securing his fourth ATP Challenger title of the season in Orleans.

Born on 15th July 2001, Jacob Fearnley is currently 23 years old.
Fearnley was brought up in the Scottish town of Dalkeith, around eight miles from the country's capital of Edinburgh.
As a talented young tennis player, Fearnley made the move over to the United States where he spent five years playing college tennis at Texas Christian University.
Fearnley is 6ft and weighs 176 lbs (80kg).
The Scotsman plays an aggressive game, aiming to press his opponents onto the back foot with powerful forehand and backhand strokes.
It was this aggression which caused Djokovic some problems in the pair's second round meeting at Wimbledon in 2024, with Fearnley putting the 24-time Grand Slam champion under pressure with ferocious groundstrokes.
