Jack Draper is the pick of the British players for this year's US Open, albeit priced at 125/1, as he attempts to become the first British male since 2012 to win at Flushing Meadows.

The 25-seed’s best Grand Slam performances have come in New York in the last two years. In 2023, Draper beat Hubert Hurkacz in straight sets before falling to Andrey Rublev in four sets in the fourth round, bettering his previous year’s effort, where he was knocked out in the third round by Karen Khachanov.
The Brit has enjoyed a steady rise through the ranks this season; having climbed inside the top 50 thanks to his quarter-final appearance at the Canadian Open in 2022, Draper was outside the top 100 a year later but will be seeded at Flushing Meadows thanks in part to his win at the Stuttgart Open as well as appearances in the latter stages of the Adelaide International, Queen’s and the Cincinnati Open.
Draper will face China's Zhang Zhizhen in the first round, and is in line for a meeting with Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz in the third round should he progress that far.
