We've compiled the full list of Japanese top-flight champions since the establishment of the J League in 1993.
Kashima Antlers are the most decorated club in J League history, capturing a total of eight domestic league titles since the reformation of the Japanese top-tier in 1993.
Their most recent success came in 2016, with Yokohama F. Mariners - second on the list - capturing their fourth and fifth J League crowns since then.
Kawasaki Frontale, the league winners in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021, are third, with Jubil Iwata's triumphs in 1997, 1999 and 2002 ranking them fourth.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima also boast three titles, and another five if you include their successes prior to the reformation of the league in the early 90s.
The reigning title-holders are Vissel Kobe, who romped to their maiden league championship last December - finishing seven points clear of second placed Yokohama F. Mariners.
