Kyprios odds-on to win second Irish St Leger

We have priced up Kyprios as the odds-on favourite to win the Irish St Leger at the Curragh on Sunday afternoon.

After winning the 2022 Irish St Leger, Kyprios had an unusual off day in last year's race as Eldar Eldarov secured victory by three lengths.

There is no doubting the form of Aidan O'Brien's superstar this summer, however, as back-to-back Gold Cups were secured at Royal Ascot before another win in the Goodwood Cup last time out.

The main challenge for Kyprios is likely to come from Giavellotto, who followed up success in the Yorkshire Cup by taking the honours in the Princess of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket's July meeting.

Willie Mullins will be hoping that Vauban can stake a claim in fine company, while The Euphrates, stablemate of Kyprios, has the potential to outrun sizeable odds.
