Galopin Des Champs is the strong favourite in the betting odds to win the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown Racecourse on Saturday.
(Odds will display when the market is available)
The Grade 1 race will be the final outing for Galopin Des Champs ahead of the Cheltenham Festival, where he is the favourite to win the Gold Cup for a third year in a row.
He is almost certain to go off odds-on to win the Irish Gold Cup this weekend, a race he has also won in each of the last two years.
His main rival looks likely to be Fact to File, the winner of November's John Durkan who was seven lengths behind Galopin Des Champs in the Savills Chase at the end of December.
Brown Advisory runner-up Monty's Star has been lightly raced and could challenge, while Embassy Gardens arrives in winning form after beating the former in a Grade 3 race on New Year's Day.
Outside contenders include 2022 champion Conflated, last year's Grand National winner I Am Maximus and 2023 King George VI Chase winner Hewick.
