IPL Records: Lowest team total

For all of the mammoth scores that have been posted in the Indian Premier League, a number of bowling attacks have reduced teams to an unpleasantly low total.

Take a look at which teams have recorded the lowest team totals in the IPL.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru - 49

v Kolkata Knight Riders (April 2017)

Royal Challengers Bengaluru also hold the record for the lowest ever total scored in an IPL match.

At Eden Gardens in April 2017, they were bowled out for only 49 in 9.4 overs by Kolkata Knight Riders with not a single player making double figures.

Rajasthan Royals - 58

v Royal Challengers Bengaluru (April 2009)

Royal Challengers Bengaluru surpassed the previous record set by Rajasthan Royals, who were rattled out for only 58 by Bengaluru themselves in Cape Town in 2009.

Chasing only 133, three were bowled for ducks as Shane Warne's team slipped to an embarrassing defeat.

Rajasthan Royals - 59

v Royal Challengers Bengaluru (May 2023)

Rajasthan Royals suffered another heavy defeat at the hands of Royal Challengers Bengaluru as they were dismissed in 10.3 overs, with both openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler caught after four deliveries.
