Punjab Kings - 262/2

v Kolkata Knight Riders (April 2024)

Punjab Kings set the record for the highest successful run chase in the 2024 IPL season as they successfully chased 262 with eight balls to spare against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Jonny Bairstow's unbeaten 108 powered the Kings to victory as Prabhsimran Singh contributed 54 off 20 and Shashank Singh totalled 68 off 28.

Rajasthan Royals - 226/6

v Punjab Kings (September 2020)

Punjab Kings had obliterated the run chase record which had previously been set against them by the Rajasthan Royals in 2020.

The Kings had set a target of 224 to win and though opener Jos Buttler fell for four, Sanju Samson's 85 and Steve Smith's 50 helped the Royals on their way to victory with four balls to spare.

v Kolkata Knight Riders (April 2024)

A breathtaking encounter unfolded at Eden Gardens in 2024 as Buttler heroically hit the winning run off the final ball of the match to hand Rajasthan Royals victory.

Buttler's match-winning 107 overshadowed the efforts of Sunil Narine, who had produced a stunning innings to return 109 from 56 deliveries.
