Inter Milan's all-time top scorers in the UEFA Champions League

We've compiled a list of the players who have scored the most goals in the UEFA Champions League for Inter Milan since 1992/93.

• Lautaro Martinez - 20

A talismanic figure in Inter's two Serie A successes of 2020/21 and 2023/24, Lautaro Martinez has enjoyed his most prolific UEFA Champions League campaign in the current season with eight goals, making him the Nerazzurri's all-time leading goalscorer in the competition.

• Adriano - 14

The ultimate cult hero for a certain generation of fans, Adriano's time at the San Siro was interrupted by a switch to Parma but upon his return to Inter, the striker netted 74 goals in 177 games for the club.

Earning the moniker 'Emperor of Milan', 14 of Adriano's Inter goals were in the UEFA Champions League, which included a hat-trick against FC Porto in the 2004/05 last-16.

• Julio Cruz - 13

Argentine striker Julio Cruz was predominantly used as an impact player from the bench during his six-year stay with Inter, but it didn't stop him from making vital contributions, including a match-winning brace against FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League in 2005.

• Hernan Crespo - 11

Purchased from Lazio in August 2002, Hernan Crespo's first season with Inter was derailed by injuries but the prolific Argentine still managed to score nine goals in 12 UEFA Champions League appearances that season.

After moving to Chelsea, a return to Inter on a two-year loan in 2006, although he only netted twice more in Europe's elite club competition on behalf of the Nerazzurri.

• Samuel Eto'o - 10

Signed from Barcelona, Samuel Eto'o was a key lieutenant in Inter's run to UEFA Champions League glory in 2010, where he netted the decisive goal of the game in the second leg of their quarter-final tie against Chelsea.

The following season was comprehensively the most prolific Eto'o produced in the UEFA Champions League as he netted eight times in 10 appearances, including a hat-trick against Werder Bremen and a brace against Tottenham.

• Romelu Lukaku - 9

Romelu Lukaku averaged a goal every two games for Inter in the UEFA Champions League across his two spells with the club.

The Belgian spent two seasons at the San Siro before returning to Chelsea, which proved an unfulfilling stint. A loan move back to Inter beckoned in 2022, with Lukaku making contributions from the bench as Simone Inzaghi's side reached the final of the competition.

• Diego Milito - 9

Inter have basked in their fair share of Argentine strikers and Diego Milito was the unsuspecting hero of their Treble conquest in 2010.

Two of his nine goals for Inter in the UEFA Champions League were in the 2010 final which downed Bayern Munich in Madrid.

• Obafemi Martins - 9

Remembered fondly for his acrobatic celebrations at Newcastle United, Obafemi Martins was a shrewd purchase for Inter from Reggiana in 2001 and the striker scored 49 goals in 134 appearances for the Nerazzurri, including nine in the UEFA Champions League.

• Dejan Stankovic - 8

Dejan Stankovic would go on to win it all after completing a £4m deal from Lazio in 2004 which saw Goran Pandev head in the other direction.

The Serbian midfielder had the tendency to produce the spectacular and his stunning volley from the halfway line against Schalke in 2011 was the pick of the crop.

• Edin Dzeko - 7

A goal-laden spell at Roma resulted in Edin Dzeko making the switch to Inter in 2021 and the towering Bosnian scored seven goals in 20 appearances for the club in the UEFA Champions League, which included the opener against rivals Milan in the 2022/23 semi-finals.
