Inspiral 11/4 to win Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot

Inspiral is the 11/4 second favourite to win the Prince of Wales's Stakes on the second day of Royal Ascot 2024.

The Cheveley Park Stud-owned five-year-old boasts nine career wins in 14 starts, with six of those successes coming at the highest level across Britain, France and America.

Despite a fourth placed finish in the Lockinge, trainer John Gosden was delighted with the performance and believes it will stand her in good stead for the upcoming race at Royal Ascot.

In her 14-race career, the bred daughter of Frankel has only finished outside of the first two on three occasions and has some fond memories of Royal Ascot - winning the Coronation Stakes in 2022 and finishing second in the 2023 Queen Anne Stakes.

While Auguste Rodin is expected to start the race as favourite, Inspiral should not be discounted from upsetting last year's Derby winner in the Grade 2 race at Royal Ascot.
