The admirably consistent Indefatigable is set to tackle the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham next month as a starting point to a plan that could see her back on the Flat at Royal Ascot in June.
The nine-year-old is a 66/1 chance for the stayers' crown, but has yet to run a bad race at the Festival, most notably when winning the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle in 2020.
Paul Webber's stablestar was then placed fourth in the Mares' Hurdle a year ago but the trainer thinks she now needs the full stayers' trip of three miles to be seen at her best.
Warwick trip too sharp
Indefatigable found the 2m5f at Warwick a bit short for her when only third in Listed Mares Hurdle last weekend, but she still has big things on her agenda.
Webber said: "Indefatigable probably needs a bit further, so it may well be that she goes for the Stayers' Hurdle. She found it too sharp at Warwick and just didn't get going at all.
"She's better in the spring, but has achieved more in the autumn and winter this season than she has done before."

Beyond Cheltenham, a shot at the Punchestown Festival in April is also on the agenda for Indefatigable, before she bids to give Webber a third Royal Ascot winner in either the Queen Alexandra or Ascot Stakes.
Webber lays out Flat plans
He added: "I've always thought Punchestown would suit her very well and that's definitely going to be on the agenda, then it's certainly the plan to have a Flat campaign.
"She only needs one more run on the Flat in order to get a handicap mark, which she'd need to get into the Ascot Stakes.
"It's extraordinary that we've got her at all to be able to go to these places. She's very special indeed."
