I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here is a reality TV show that sees household names from sporting, television, musical and political circles thrown into a series of challenges in the depths of the jungle.

To win the voting public’s approval and therefore stay in the competition, contestants must be prepared to work as a team and battle heights, insects, the elements and more. It is now into its 22nd season and will once again be hosted by Ant and Dec.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here will be broadcast daily at 21:00 on ITV1, with repeats available on the ITV Hub catch-up service. There will also be a special jungle-themed episode of The Masked Singer for viewers to enjoy before Sunday 6th November’s curtain-raiser, starting at 19:30.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here returns to Australia this series, following a two-year hiatus that saw it move locations to Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

Who are the contestants for this year’s I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here?

A host of star names are on the billing for this year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, having been spotted arriving at Brisbane Airport. 

The group is headlined by former Culture Club singer Boy George, who is rumoured to be the programme’s highest-paid star yet.

Radio DJ Chris Moyles is also set to appear, as is World Cup-winning former rugby player Mike Tindall, who, as husband to Zara Tindall, niece of King Charles III, becomes the first royal to feature on the show.

Jill Scott, part of England’s victorious Euro 2022 squad, is taking part, as are soap stars Owen Warner and Sue Cleaver, who play Hollyoaks’ Romeo Nightingale and Coronation Street’s Eileen Grimshaw.

Loose Women presenter Charlene White joins the cast, as does influencer Olivia Atwood, the first Love Island contestant to take on the show.

Stand-up comedian Babatunde Aleshe and former A Place In The Sun host Scarlette Douglas have also been confirmed as participants.

And another comic, Seann Walsh, is believed to be joining the show a few days after the other contestants, though this is yet to be officially confirmed.

A further contestant was announced on Tuesday Matt Hanock was confirmed as the 12th candidate for success in the jungle, with the former Health Secretary reported to have already signed up for the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Who is the favourite to win What is I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here?

Mike Tindall’s years spent on the rugby field have left him near the top of the betting to win the show, with Lionesses star Jill Scott also high up in the early markets.

Perhaps a surprise pick, singer Boy George has also been tipped to do well, while Sue Cleaver and Charlene White are seen as outsiders, with Hancock entering the field at 16/1.
