Il Est Francais has been installed as the second favourite to win the Ryanair Chase at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.

Il Est Francais made all on his first trip to Britain when landing the Kauto Star Chase in December 2023 and a positive approach could be the key to success at Prestbury Park.

The French front-runner is aiming to follow in the footsteps of other positive ridden winners including Vautour, Un De Sceaux and Allaho as he attempts to go one better than when he finished runner-up to Banbridge in the King George at Kempton on Boxing Day.
