The Shadwell-owned horse made his breakthrough at the highest level with a dominant success in the 1m4f Group 1, scorching clear by four and a quarter lengths under Jim Crowley from last year's winner Pyledriver.
The five-year-old's win also provided trainer Owen Burrows with a first top-level success and they could be quickly in search of their second in the summer showpiece, with an appearance at the Berkshire track now mooted, as well as possible trips to France and Canada later in the season.

Hukum could face off in a rematch against Pyledriver in the King George, while last year's winner Adayar, Hurricane Lane, the progressive Bay Bridge and unlucky Oaks second Emily Upjohn may also be among his rivals.
Burrows said: "I thought he was pretty impressive there. We'll have to see where he goes next, anywhere there's a little bit of juice in the ground although he's versatile. He's in the Grand Prix de Saint Cloud, he's in a German Group 1 in August, the Irish St Leger and also in Canada.
"I thought this might be his only sighting here this year in England but we might have to change our thinking now. He's been a wonderful horse for me, I am thrilled he's done it, for myself and for everyone back home."
