League of Legends side DWG KIA have confirmed they have parted ways with top laner Yoon "Hoya" Yong-Ho.
In the LFL Summer, meanwhile, Team GO are 11/10 to beat Solary, who can be backed at 4/6 to win.
For followers of the League of Legends LCK, the move to let "Hoya" go will come as no surprise given that star Jang "Nuguri" Ha-gwont, who takes up the same top laner position as "Hoya", rejoined the DWG KIA roster back in April.
"Nuguri", a former Worlds winner with DWG KIA, left FunPlus Phoenix in November last year before taking a break from the Esport.
He then put pen to paper on a deal with his former side DWG KIA earlier this year, suggesting "Hoya" would not be their main top laner much longer.
"Hoya" joined the DWG KIA during the offseason and played in four series at the 2022 LCK Spring Split, in which his side made the semi-finals, losing 3-2 to Gen.G Esports.

With "Hoya" now gone, it looks as though DWG KIA's new composition will feature "Nuguri" as their starting top laner with Noh "Burdol" Tae-yoon, who has also featured a lot this season, set to be their substitute player in the position.
On their official Twitter account, DWG KIA wrote: "DWG KIA announces that the contract with Yoon 'Hoya' Yong-ho has been mutually terminated.
"DWG KIA sincerely thanks Hoya for his contribution to securing DWG's spring [and] wishes for the best in his future endeavours."
