The five-match T20 International series between New Zealand and India gets underway in Christchurch on Thursday.
The two teams will also play five One Day Internationals and two Test matches as part of India's tour this winter.
India come into the series following an underwhelming 2-2 draw at home to West Indies in their five-match T20 series.
Meanwhile, New Zealand are back in T20 action for the first time since the start of May when they played three matches against Bangladesh.
