Viewers in the UK will be able to access free-to-air live TV coverage of select Championship matches.
ITV have agreed a deal with the Championship's main broadcaster Sky Sports to sublicense five matches in the second half of the 2024/25 season, with the option to flex their selection to matches from League One or League Two.
The agreement will also see ITV simulcast as many as 10 Championship fixtures in the subsequent two seasons, which will accompany their increased coverage of the EFL Cup and their existing Football League highlights package.
Two Championship fixtures have been selected for free-to-air live coverage by ITV.
An all-Yorkshire affair between Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday is up first, with the action from Elland Road to be broadcast on ITV1. The match kicks off at 12:00 GMT on Sunday 19th January.
The second match selected is the Tees-Wear derby between Middlesbrough and Sunderland. The clash at the Riverside Stadium takes place on Monday 3rd February and will kick off at 20:00 GMT.
A further three fixtures will be announced in due course.
