How to watch the Allsvenskan: Live streaming and key dates

The Allsvenskan is the top professional league in Sweden and was first founded in 1924.

Consisting of 16 clubs competing across a 30-match season, one team will be crowned champions and three teams will qualify for a UEFA competition.

At the other end of the table, the bottom two teams are automatically relegated to the Superettan, while the 14th-placed side will feature in the Allsvenskan play-off with the chance to preserve their league status.

A total of 16 teams have been crowned Allsvensan champions and Malmo FF are Sweden's most successful club with 27 titles.

Allsvenskan key fixtures and dates

The 2025 Allsvenskan wll start on 29th March and will conclude on 29th December.

The relegation play-offs are then contested a week after the conclusion of the regular season.
