The most prestigious individual award in football will be handed out this evening in the 70th annual ceremony of the Ballon d'Or.
The ceremony is set to take place in London so it is perhaps fitting that England captain Harry Kane is among the favourites to win the award.
However, the Bayern Munich striker faces stiff competition from the likes of World Cup winner Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe.
Meanwhile Alexia Putellas is the favourite to scoop the Ballon d'Or Feminin, ending her international team-mate Aitana Bonmati's streak of three consecutive wins.
In addition to the most coveted prize in the game a number of other awards will also be up for grabs on Monday evening for both men's and women's football, including the Young Talent of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year and Coach of the Year.
