Sydney Roosters and Newcastle Knights face-off on Sunday in the 2026 NRL Grand Final.
Following 210 games, 17,000 minutes of rugby and over 10,000 points scored, it all boils down to one game.
The Roosters are a strong outfit, four Premierships in 25 years and a team full of household names. They went 16-8 in the regular season and finished fourth, four points off table toppers Penrith Panthers.
On the other hand, Newcastle Knights are on a 25-year Premiership drought, won the wooden spoon last season and scraped into the playoffs in seventh with a 14-10 record -- no team has won the title from there before.
What has happened since then though has been nothing short of magic, two big upsets over the Rabbitohs and Warriors were followed by one of the gutsiest displays in NRL Finals history.
A 22-14 win over regular season victors Penrith, where they defended with 12 men for the last 44 minutes of the game.
This NRL Grand Final is set up to be a blockbuster
