Australia's Sam Goodman will look to further enhance his world championship credentials when he faces the dangerous Ryosuke Nishida in Japan on Sunday morning.
The once-beaten New South Wales native secured a points success over Rodrigo Fabian Ruiz in an IBF world title eliminator last time out and now has the opportunity to get his hands on the 'interim' belt - one that would propel him to the periphery of a scrap with pound-for-pound great Naoya Inoue.
Standing in his way of that glamour fight however is former IBF titlist Nishida, who is continuing his boxing rebuild on the back of his first professional defeat against Junto Nakatani just over 12 months ago.
