They will be keen to improve upon their disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Ivory Coast on Thursday evening.
Michael O'Neill's men were 1-0 winners against Guinea on the same night but they are up against a significant step up in quality.
France v Northern Ireland will be available to watch live on BBC Two Northern Ireland and BBC Three.
