Championship TV channel & broadcaster

Sky Sports hold the broadcasting rights for live Championship action in the UK this season.

The EFL agreed a lucrative new five-year deal with the broadcaster which means Sky Sports will now televise a minimum of 328 Championship fixtures. Weekends will see 10 live fixtures shown from across the EFL.

A comprehensive highlights package will also be screened on ITV4, as well as in midweeks where a full round of fixtures has taken place.

Championship key fixtures and dates

The 2024/25 Championship season commenced on Friday 9th August 2024 and will conclude on Saturday 3rd May 2025.

Championship Play-Off Dates

No official date has been finalised for the 2024/25 Championship play-off semi-finals, which are typically played shortly after the conclusion of the season.

The 2024/25 Championship play-off final will take place at Wembley Stadium over the May Bank Holiday weekend (24th - 26th May 2025).
