The Socceroos have not had the best World Cup build-up, with their 1-0 defeat against Mexico following friendly losses against Colombia, Venezuela and USA in recent times.
Switzerland were 4-1 winners against Jordan last weekend and they are in good shape of their tournament opener against Qatar next weekend.
