Aston Villa will be aiming to maintain their unbeaten start in this year's UEFA Champions League when they host Viking FK on Wednesday evening.
Unai Emery's side are third in the league phase standings having won 2-3 away at Club Brugge before a 6-0 drubbing of Fenerbahce in matchweek two.
Despite a slow start to their Premier League campaign, there are encouraging signs that they are kicking into gear following last weekend's victory over Newcastle.
Viking FK are 27th in the league phase standings, losing their first UEFA Champions League tie 3-1 away to VfB Stuttgart.
The reigning Norwegian champions then hosted German giants Bayern Munich and secured an impressive 3-3 draw, so their tails will be up in Birmingham on Wednesday.
They are once again embroiled in a fierce Eliteserien title battle with Bodo/Glimt this year, joint top and ahead on goal difference by just one goal.
