The AFC Champions League Elite returns with teams across Asia battling it out in Asia's primary continental club competition.
The tournament has been revamped in 2024 with second and third tier competitions added in the form of the AFC Champions League Two and AFC Challenger League, offering more sides across Asia the chance to play continental football.
The top-tier tournament has been rebranded as the AFC Champions League Elite, with Abu Dhabi based outfit Al Ain FC the defending champions after beating Yokohama F. Marinos in the two-legged final last season.

The AFC Champions League Elite will be split into two phases with the League Phase up first, made of of two divisions for the West Region and East Region.
The League Phase is followed by the Knockout stages for the 16 teams who qualify from the league, with the highest place eight teams from each division progressing to the knockouts.
