How the 49s draw works: Draw explained, times and how to watch

The 49s is an online lottery featuring two daily draws from 49 balls, with a number of betting markets available from bet365.

Six balls are drawn from the 49 available, with a seventh bonus ball completing the draws, which take place daily in the afternoon and in the evening.

Punters can back a number of different markets alongside the traditional lottery draw, with ball colour, odd or even and total value among the markets available to choose from.

49s Draw explained

The 49s is named for the 49 numbered balls in the draw, with six balls drawn at random, followed by a seventh bonus ball which completes the draw.

The number are all coloured differently and punters are able to back several different markets ranging from the colour of the ball to the value of the ball numbers added together.

When is the 49s draw?

The 49s are drawn twice daily every day of the week from Monday to Sunday.

The first draw takes place around lunchtime at 12:49, followed by the second and final draw in the evening at 17:49.
