Mohamed Salah is set to put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor.
The 'Egyptian King' revealed that he would be ending his nine-year stay at Liverpool following the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign, despite having 12 months left on his reported £400,000-a-week contract.
Salah left with the blessing of Reds supporters and was given a send off fitting of a club legend, winning two Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, three PFA Players' Player of the Year awards and countless other club and individual accolades.
There was an overarching sense that the 34-year-old would end up in the Saudi Pro League after parting ways with the Merseyside outfit, but it's Trabzonspor who are set to secure his signature after fighting off interest from fellow Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.

How much will Mohamed Salah earn at Trabzonspor?
According to reports, Salah is set to receive an approximate net salary of €17m per year, amounting to €34m over his two-year contract.
In addition to his net salary, he is set to bank a €5m signing on bonus and will be entitled to 20% of the income generated from the club's sale of shirts with his name on.
His annual net salary of €17m -- which works out at approximately €325,000 per week -- will make him Trabzonspor's highest-paid footballer ever, while he will become the second highest earning player in Turkey's top-flight, only trailing Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen -- who takes home a reported €18.75m a year.
