The Snooker Shoot Out is famed for its fast-paced, against the clock format, but believe it or not, there have still been a number of players to have displayed calmness and composure to register unlikely centuries.
They may be relatively few and far between, but we have come to expect a couple of players to notch up breaks of 100 during each edition of the popular event.
We take a look at every century made at the competition, which this year, takes place at the Tower Circus in Blackpool.
As of the end of the 2024 competition, a total of 30 century breaks have been compiled at the Snooker Shoot Out.
Ranking event winner Zhou Yuelong was the last player to achieve the feat, registering a 101 break at the most recent staging of the competition last year.
A total of 27 players have notched three figure breaks at the Snooker Shoot Out with three players doing so on more than one occasion.
The most prolific century break-builder to date is Martin Gould - the 2013 champion - who has amassed three centuries, including a stunning 135 clearance 12 months prior to his crowning glory.
The great Ronnie O'Sullivan also features on the list, chipping in with 129 and 113 breaks - both in 2011 - whilst Xiao Guodong also possesses two to his name, with his efforts of 106 and 101 coming in 2020 and 2023.
