2.15 Yarmouth - Line Sheet @ 9/4

The AKS Skip Hire Services Nursery Handicap (2.15) gets the meeting underway and LINE SHEET should be hard to beat under a 6lb penalty for her victory at Leicester a week ago.

The daughter of Advertise showed promise in four outings for Ralph Beckett and built on that when making a winning debut for new trainer George Scott in her second handicap last week.

That wasn't a strong race, but Line Sheet was well on top and going away at the finish and the Topspeed figure of 58 which she recorded that day was also solid considering the low grade.

Danny Muscutt was on board for that last win and the Scott stable is in superb form.

There is evidently good reason to think that Line Sheet can make it two from two for her new stable.

Graeme Rodway's tip:

Line Sheet @ 9/4 - 1pt win

5.10 Yarmouth - Tarbaan @ 15/2

The EAAA East Coast Air Ambulance Handicap (5.10) looks like a good opportunity for TARBAAN, who has been running consistently well and can gain reward for his good efforts.

The four-year-old ran well under Kevin Stott when third in a 1m2f handicap at Newmarket in August and is reunited with the rider here following another two solid efforts in defeat since.

The selection was beaten only two lengths into fourth at Redcar last month and caught the eye making good late headway when third at Ripon last time.

That is not a track where it often pays to come from off the pace and Tarbaan did well to get so close after a slow start.

He races off the same mark here and, if Stott can get a better break, there could be plenty more to come from Tarbaan, even taking into account the fact that this looks a stronger race.

Graeme Rodway's tip:

Tarbaan @ 15/2 - 1pt win

5.45 Yarmouth - Stone Circle @ 8/1

The Stephenson Smart Accountants To Bet On Handicap (5.45) is a hot-looking sprint and STONE CIRCLE should be well suited by returning to course and distance.

He is just 2lb higher than when successful in a Racing League event here in July on similar ground conditions.

Stone Circle followed that course-and-distance victory with a good third in another Racing League event at Chepstow last month and that was a strong-looking race.

The runner-up has since gone on to score and the winner, Manila Scouse, is an improver still capable of better.

The selection has three wins over course and distance to his name and will almost certainly have been aimed at this meeting.

A 40-day break since his last run gives substance to that theory and Kieran Shoemark is a good booking, with a 16 per cent strike-rate for this yard.

Graeme Rodway's tip:

Stone Circle @ 8/1 - 1pt win
