There are seven meetings across Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with Dan Skelton featuring heavily as he battles for the British trainers' title.

15:59 Perth – Hidden History @ 7/4
16:33 Perth – Tommy's Oscar @ 6/1
19:02 Tipperary – Rock Of Ireland @ 15/2
15:59 Perth - Hidden History @ 7/4
Dan Skelton is mob-handed in his pursuit of the British jumps trainers' title with a big team of runners at Bangor, Perth and Warwick.
Stable jockey Harry Skelton goes to Perth for three rides, and the pair can combine to winning effect in the 2m4f handicap hurdle with HIDDEN HISTORY.
The seven-year-old showed reasonable form for Chris Gordon in 2024, but elevated his level on his stable debut for Skelton at Uttoxeter in March, landing a competitive handicap hurdle in a good time.
A 7lb rise for that impressive strike looks more than fair given the runner-up, Wellington Arch, is now rated 10lb higher after picking up a 20-runner handicap at the Aintree festival.
The lightly raced Hidden History should have plenty more to offer for Skelton and there isn't much to fear in this line-up.
16:33 Perth - Tommy's Oscar @ 6/1
Skelton also has a decent chance at Perth in the following 2m4f handicap chase with Heltenham, who is 2lb well-in after his gallant Newton Abbot second five days ago.
However, the ground was bottomless there and this may come quick enough for Heltenham, who is bypassed for the well-treated TOMMY'S OSCAR instead.
The handicapper's leniency with veterans nowadays is illustrated by Tommy's Oscar's quick drop in the weights despite the fact he has largely been running well this season.
He is down to a mark of 149 (his lowest since 2021) and he looks a class apart off top weight if he copes with this new 2m4f trip.
The selection shapes as if it is worth a try, and the fact he won a 3m point-to-point while his dam was a 2m4f winner reinforces that view.
19:02 Tipperary - Rock Of Ireland @ 15/2
There is also action in Ireland for punters to get stuck into and ROCK OF IRELAND holds strong claims in the 1m4½f handicap that concludes the card at Tipperary.
The son of Rock Of Gibraltar caught the eye a couple of times last season, particularly a year ago on his return in a 1m2f Navan maiden when he showed his toughness behind a potentially smart youngster.
The way he rallied to a head defeat after being reeled in on that stiff track strongly hinted at longer trips suiting and he finally gets the opportunity to strut his stuff over further.
Rock Of Ireland's staying-on fourth in a big field 1m2f handicap at Cork on Saturday will have brought him forward, and he must have every chance off 1lb lower turned out quickly.
