Pontefract stages a good seven-race card this Sunday while punters also have the choice of switching their attention to a six-race card over jumps at Uttoxeter.
Racing Post tipster Dave Randall has focused his form study on the Flat action, and outlines his best bets on the Pontefract card.
1.45 Pontefract - La Habanera @ 11/4
2.50 Pontefract - Poker Face @ 5/2
2.50 Pontefract - Al Mubhir (saver) @ 11/4

David Evans is 1-5 with his runners in juvenile non-handicaps on this course, and his La Habanera sets the form standard in the opening 5f juvenile fillies' maiden at Pontefract.
She failed to build on her respectable fourth-placed debut at Leicester in May when well held at Nottingham in June, but she progressed significantly to finish third in a 6f Class 2 fillies' novice contest at York this month.
The selection is dropping back to 5f in this Class 4 contest and this stiff track should play to her strengths.
Her sire Havana Grey is 3-13 (23%) when his progeny compete on this course and 57-285 (20%) with all his runners over the minimum trip.
Ben Curtis is 20-121 (17%) when riding for Evans and there is every chance that the combination have dropped on the right race for this improving filly to get off the mark.

The Listed 1m contest for three-year-olds and upwards is the feature race from Pontefract on Sunday.
Six runners are set to line up for an intriguing puzzle in which two of the horses make more appeal than the other four.
The main bet is Poker Face representing the Simon and Ed Crisford training partnership, who are 4-12 with their runners on this course, and they saddled three winners in the 14 days prior to racing on Saturday.
Poker Face was unraced as a juvenile but won readily over this course-and-distance on his debut last September before neatly defying a penalty in a 1m Newcastle novice contest later that month.
He remained unbeaten as a three-year-old with an impressive success on his handicap debut over 1m2f back on this track in October, with Sunday's rider James Doyle in the saddle, with the jockey 52-225 (23%) when riding for the Crisfords.
The son of Fastnet Rock made a promising start as a four-year-old at Newmarket's Craven meeting in April, finishing second to Ottoman Fleet in the Group 3 1m1f Earl Of Sefton Stakes.
Then came a perfectly respectable fourth in the Group 2 Huxley Stakes, weakening late on over the extended 1m2f trip on Chester's testing surface in behind Point Lonsdale.
He put in a rare poor effort when always behind in the Listed Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot, but got back on track to a large degree when second to Savvy Victory in a small-field Listed contest at Sandown earlier this month.
The selection has leading claims if building on that more promising effort back on a course he clearly appreciates, and the only slight concern is the drop back to 1m.
The saver selection Al Mubhir is suggested with that slight concern in mind.
He represents the notable trainer and jockey combination of William Haggas and Tom Marquand, and only has 2lb to find with Poker Face on the book.
The step back up to a mile will suit and he could potentially have a tactical edge, if Marquand can get him to dictate the fractions without too much pestering for the lead.
