The Download The At The Races App Handicap (5.15) at Wolverhampton features several promising three-year-olds, but this looks like an outstanding opportunity for PHILOS to score.
He has been in superb form this year without getting his head in front and looked better than ever when chasing home Edwina Sheeran in a 1m4f handicap at Beverley just a week ago.
Philos didn't enjoy the cleanest of runs through there either. He found trouble in running early in the contest, but stayed on strongly to pull clear of the remainder of the field.
There were three and three-quarter lengths separating the front two and the rest at the finishing line. The selection is able to race off the same mark now that he is turned out quickly and outstanding champion jockey William Buick has been booked by Ed Dunlop to ride.
A reproduction of his Beverley form might be enough for Philos to gain a deserved victory.

Division one of the Membership At Gowran Park Golf Club Handicap (6.40) at Gowran Park is a wide-open race and it looks worth taking a chance on NYLA RUA bouncing back from a poor recent run.
Nyla Rua ran well off higher marks in handicap company last season when trained by Tom McCourt and there was a lot of support for him before his debut for Jack Davison last time.
That came in a 7f handicap at Cork last month and Nyla Rua was beaten only three and three-quarter lengths, despite finishing only 14th of 25.
He went off 15-2 favourite that day on his first outing in cheekpieces and the race was run in a solid time. It wasn't a bad effort.
That run was only last Wednesday and the fact Davison turns his runner out quickly just six days later suggests that he must be in good shape at home.
I'm expecting him to improve plenty for that first outing since last November too and Ronan Whelan is a positive booking.
The race at Musselburgh on 30th April run as part of the Sunday Series looks key to the big sprint at Ayr.
Abduction was second that day, but he like all the other principals came from the rear in a race where the pace collapsed.
As it happens, Abduction faces off against the horse that did best of the prominent runners in that race.
SHALAA ASKER came into Musselburgh off the back of by far the most successful spell of his career. That was his 2022/23 winter all-weather campaign, but it also coincided with his return to sprint trips.
The speed he showed at Musselburgh lends weight to the idea that it has been the drop in trip that has brought this six-year-old his career-best form. As such, he deserves to be taken seriously in this race.
Shalaa Asker offers value against a horse that very much had the run of the race last time. Furthermore, if you take out Billy Loughnane's claim he is also 6lb better off for little more than two lengths.
