2.25 Lingfield - Mc Loven @ 9/1
The At The Races App Market Movers Nursery Handicap (2.25) is an interesting juvenile race at Lingfield and it could go to MC LOVEN on his first outing for Simon Dow’s stable.
The lightly-raced son of Harry Angel improved with each start for Kevin Philippart de Foy and built on his close second over 5f on turf at this course with a win at Wolverhampton last time.
Mc Loven had to work hard to justify odds of 4/11 and hang on by a short-head, but the front two pulled three and three-quarter lengths clear of the remainder in a good time for the grade.
This is his handicap debut and improvement will probably be needed to defy a mark of 77, but he showed loads of early speed at Wolverhampton and will be well suited by a sharp 5f.
This track should be ideal and Paddy Bradley’s 3lb claim will definitely help Mc Loven here.

4.00 Beverley - Marine Wave @ 5/6
The Eddie And Violet Smith Conditions Stakes (4.00) is the feature at Beverley and it looks like a good opportunity for MARINE WAVE to get reward for a string of consistently good runs.
The Richard Fahey-trained filly has been placed in Listed company on three of her last five starts and her only disappointing run came when upped in class in a Group 3 at York in July.
She showed she is still in top form when beaten only a length and a half into third in a Listed race at Ayr on Friday and this is a much easier assignment, getting weight from all her rivals.
Marine Wave needs to prove she can back up that run now turned out quickly just four days later, but she is a consistent horse who rarely runs a bad race and appears to have the right constitution to deal with the fast turnaround.
A reproduction of her Ayr run can do the trick.

8.00 Newcastle - Rainbow Rain @ 4/1
The 6f handicap (8.00) at Newcastle is a competitive sprint, but it’s worth taking a chance on the in-form RAINBOW RAIN making it two wins from his last three outings under Tom Eaves.
Eaves was on board when Rainbow Rain ran out an easy winner at Thirsk in July and he returned to steer him to another victory in a 6f handicap at Carlisle off 9lb higher last time.
Rainbow Rain showed plenty of speed on both occasions and he finished second over 5f at this course in between, so evidently has no issues with a straight track on the all-weather.
He is 3lb higher than when last successful at Carlisle, but has been rated higher in the past and comes here in the form of his life.
Another bold bid from the front is surely on the cards under Eaves and the visor he has worn for his last two victories is back on once again here.
