There is plenty of racing action to take in on Friday with our gaze focused on the meetings at Kempton and Bangor-On-Dee.
The latest horse racing betting tips for Friday’s racing from Kempton and Bangor-On-Dee from Racing Post tipster Adrian Wall.
12:50 Kempton - Epinephrine @ 4/1
14:12 Bangor-On-Dee - Rockinastorm @ 9/2
14:42 Bangor-On-Dee - Paddys Policy @ 11/2
12:50 Kempton - Epinephrine @ 4/1
Venetia Williams is having a brilliant season to date and it will be a surprise if Epinephrine isn't much better than her opening mark of 109 in the 2m mares' handicap hurdle at Kempton.
The five-year-old No Risk At All mare finished third behind subsequent runaway Grade 2 winner Kamsinea in an Auteuil maiden hurdle in the autumn of 2023 and a sum of €100,000 was paid for her soon after at Arqana Deauville Autumn Sales.
Fourth behind the 129-rated Honky Tonk Highway in Listed company at Sandown on her British debut in December, the ground was very testing on the day and the betting suggested she would need the run, which she did.
Epinephrine cut out most of the running when again fourth in a Taunton maiden hurdle, but she might have been saved for handicaps and she could be well ahead of the assessor here.
14:12 Bangor-On-Dee - Rockinastorm @ 9/2
Henry Daly's Rockinastorm has been in terrific form over the winter and he's a fabulous jumper of a fence. If he can see out the extreme trip, he should take all the beating in the North Wales National over 3m6f.
The five-time chase winner won over the extended 3m1f at Ludlow in November before following up a month later at Wetherby. He was no match for In d'Or in a 0-140 handicap over 3m at Ascot when last seen but still ran a good race in second.
Rockinastorm takes a big drop in class here contesting 0-120 company and he looks like the type who will relish this sort of test. He's likely to take up the early lead and if he jumps well like he usually does, he will take some pegging back if he sees out the trip.
14:42 Bangor-On-Dee - Paddys Policy @ 11/2
Donald McCain is usually good for a winner at his favourite track, boasting a 19% strike-rate at Bangor-On-Dee in the last five seasons, and Brian Hughes can guide Paddys Policy to a second career victory in the 2m1f novices' hurdle.
Disappointing around here in a bumper on debut, he showed some ability when third behind the Willie Mullins-trained Mr Escobar in a Sedgefield maiden hurdle in November, a race that has worked out particularly well as the second and fourth have won three times between them since.
Paddys Policy made all in a maiden hurdle at Sedgefield when last seen and stuck on well in the closing stages when strongly pressed by Broderick. They pulled miles clear of the remaining runners so the form could turn out to be decent and he can carry a penalty to victory here.
