The early-evening Sunday Series continues with Thirsk’s Premier Raceday and all seven races will be shown live on ITV4.
The latest horse racing betting tips for Sunday's Premier Raceday at Thirsk from Racing Post tipster Dave Randall.
16:15 – Cargin Bhui @ 8/1
17:45 – Intrinsic Bond @ 10/1
18:15 – Letsbefrank @ 9/2
16:15 – Cargin Bhui @ 8/1
The David and Nicola Barron training partnership are represented by Cargin Bhui in the Class 3 7f Sky Bet Build A Bet Handicap for three-year-olds at Thirsk (16:15) on Sunday evening, and they are a quite encouraging 6-51 (12%) with their runners at Thirsk.
Connor Beasley is taking over in the saddle and he is 8-59 (14%) when riding for the Barrons.
The Invincible Army gelding only had to be pushed out to make a winning reappearance on his second career start over 5f on Tapeta at Wolverhampton in January.
He produced a notable effort over 6f on Newcastle's Tapeta later that month, reaching a close second behind Pocklington under a penalty on the stiff uphill climb to the line and hinting that today's extra furlong may prove suitable in the future.
Pocklington is now rated 96 and the selection features off a mark of 80, having again hinted that this extra furlong will suit when just held over 6f at Hamilton on good ground recently. He was awarded a peak Racing Post Rating of 88 for that Hamilton display.
Cargin Bhui has the ability to race prominently which makes his favourable lowish draw in stall five potentially more advantageous over this turning 7f and he makes plenty of each-way appeal with four places available.
17:45 – Intrinsic Bond @ 10/1
Five places are available when betting each-way on the Class 2 5f Sky Bet Request A Bet Handicap from Thirsk (17:45), and the Michael Wigham-trained Intrinsic Bond is worth backing on those terms.
Darragh Keenan gets the mount and he is a notable 3-4 (75% +£27.50) when riding for the Wigham yard.
The seven-year-old is helpfully versatile as regards ground requirements given the uncertain forecast. He has won over this course and distance from a 5lb lower rating and the latest of his three 5f victories came in this Class 2 grade from a slightly higher mark than on Sunday at Ascot in July last year.
The selection has dropped 2lb to a mark of 90 despite an encouraging return to action when seventh of 14 over extra furlong after an 175-day break at Haydock recently. He registered an RPR of 94 on that occasion and is entitled to build on that effort.
Intrinsic Bond ran to RPRs of 105 on two occasions over 5f on good ground last summer which adequately illustrates his competitive potential in this contest.
18:15 – Letsbefrank @ 9/2
The unexposed Letsbefrank showed marked progression to win going away over 1m3f on good ground at Hamilton 14 days ago on his fifth start, and he has likeable follow-up claims in the Class 4 1m6f Sky Bet Club Handicap at Thirsk (18:15).
Amie Waugh is claiming 5lb in the saddle once again which negates his subsequent 6lb rise to a large degree, before factoring in the likelihood of more progression for this step up to a staying trip.
Letsbefrank is a half-brother to Quick Jack, a smart winner on the Flat from 1m4f to 2m, and over 2m over hurdles.
The four-year-old registered an RPR of 71 at Hamilton, features off 66 on this occasion and should prove hard to beat in receipt of weight all-round.
