EASY GAME has been an excellent servant to his connections and can add a 20th career victory in 43 starts for Willie Mullins in the 2m6f conditions chase.

The selection only ran four days ago in the Galway Plate, but a bad mistake at the fourth didn't help matters and his rider rightly looked after him after his chance disappeared.

The quick turnaround is of little concern as he's been able to back up quick runs on multiple occasions in the past and the decisive factor is the huge drop in class.

While stablemate Janidil is technically the one to beat on these terms, he is less trustworthy than Easy Game, who excels in this type of contest.

We also saw SAINT ROI in the Galway Plate earlier in the week, but that looked a strange piece of placing as he is a speed horse.

Dropping markedly in distance looks just the ticket and he can pick up the 2m2f handicap chase.

Saint Roi was in excellent form in the spring, going close in major handicap chases at the Aintree and Punchestown festivals, and this is far weaker than both of those. 

He has a decent apprentice taking 5lb off him to ease his burden and there is a chance he will improve for the Plate run as it was his first since May.

I AM SUPERMAN has been an outstanding campaigner for Michael O'Callaghan over the years, and while he isn't operating at the same level that saw him go close in an Australian Group 1 a few years ago, he still merits consideration in the Ahonoora Handicap.

The eight-year-old has won two of his past four outings to suggest he remains in form and recent heavy defeats in the Ballycorus Stakes and Minstrel Stakes can be forgiven. That company is simply too hot for I Am Superman nowadays.

The handicapper has given him a chance, though, and with his jockey's claim he is effectively running off just 94.

Stall six is an ideal berth for this veteran, who likes to front-run, to gain a decent early position for what has presumably been his long-term aim.
