The French import had deputised for stablemate Constitution Hill when winning the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle on his comeback, before making a seamless transition to fencing in the Wayward Lad Novices' Chase.

Sir Gino is a five-year-old gelding.
On his most recent start in the Grade 2 Wayward Lad Novices' Chase at Kempton in December Sir Gino carried 10st 12lb.
Sir Gino has won all six career starts so far. He defeated Salvator Mundi on his hurdles debut at Auteuil in April 2023 before relocating to the Henderson team at Seven Barrows.
He made a pleasing British bow at Kempton in a novice hurdle in December of that year and then romped home in a Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham in January.
He was a hot favourite to win that Festival contest in March 2024, but Henderson's string were under a cloud and he was pulled out at the 11th hour. He went to Aintree the following month and won their Grade 4-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle.
Chasing was mooted, but with Constitution Hill absent, Sir Gino instead made his reappearance in Newcastle's Fighting Fifth Hurdle where he seamlessly made the transition into open company with an eight-length win from Lump Sum.
On 27th December, he took his chance in the Wayward Lad Novices' Chase at Kempton over 2m, where he jumped superbly and handed a convincing beating to Willie Mullins' Ballyburn.
After that success at Kempton, Sir Gino was made favourite for the Arkle at Cheltenham.
Henderson entered him for the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury in February. but he was withdrawn after picking up a leg wound at home.
That injury became infected and Sir Gino was hospitalised, with Henderson confirming his charge’s season was over.
Sir Gino is owned by Joe & Marie Donnelly, currently owners of some of the leading horses in jumps racing - they include Salvator Mundi, State Man, Dancing City, Asterion Forlonge and Lulamba.
After winning his only start in France for Carlos and Yann Lerner, he was snapped up by the Donnelly family for an unspecified fee.
Sir Gino is trained by Nicky Henderson at his Seven Barrows yard in Lambourn.
Henderson has been champion jumps trainer in Britain on six occasions, first gaining the crown in 1985/86 and most recently in 2019/20, when he was champion for the third time in four seasons.
Henderson has saddled 73 winners at the Cheltenham Festival, second only to Willie Mullins.
He won the Gold Cup with Long Run in 2011 and Bobs Worth in 2013.
He has also won the Queen Mother Champion Chase a joint record six times and the Champion Hurdle a record nine times. He also has two Stayers' Hurdles successes to his name.
Sir Gino was rated 157 over hurdles and achieved a rating of 157 for his one run over fences so far.
In his career to date Sir Gino has pocketed £268,468 in prize money, with his biggest payday being the £65,492 he won in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle.
After confirming the news that Sir Gino was out for the rest of this jumps season, Henderson soon stressed that his rising star would face a battle to return to the racecourse.
"The situation does remain critical, but he is comfortable and eating remarkably well under the circumstances," he said in a social media statement.
"The medical attention will be ongoing for the foreseeable future and he is in the very best hands. He has the potential to be one of the greats and hopefully, with all fingers and toes crossed, he still will be."
