There's a classy flat meeting at Leopardstown in Ireland on Sunday with plenty of competitive races.
Here are the latest horse racing betting tips for Sunday's card at Leopardstown from the Racing Post's Gary Savage.
14:20 Leopardstown - Chantez @ 9/2
14:55 Leopardstown - Mutasarref @ 10/3
16:40 Leopardstown - Neo Smart @ 4/1
14:20 Leopardstown - Chantez @ 9/2
This Group Three has been opened up to older mares this season, and three will run, but trying to give 12lb to the classic generation may prove too much and Ger Lyons' Chantez is taken to come out on top.
Lyons' has won the last two runnings of this contest, and like this filly, the victors had both been beaten on their previous start, so Chantez's defeat over a mile on seasonal debut shouldn't put anyone off.
A juvenile Listed winner, she was presumably considered to have trained on okay as she was sent off at 3/1 for that contest, only to disappoint.
It's no surprise to see the hood enlisted as she got upset in the stalls and, after making a bit of a move around the furlong pole, her pre-race exertions took their toll.
She beat subsequent Rockfel winner Bubbling in one of her two course and distance wins last season, and can now be given a chance to show what she's made of.
14:55 Leopardstown - Mutasarref @ 10/3
Diego Velazquez looks to have this race at his mercy on ratings, but no favourites have won this in the past four years, and Aidan O'Brien hasn't triumphed in the past decade so, with the stable's runners often needing a run as well, he's worth taking on.
He's up against a couple of race-fit course and distance specialists in Mutasarref and Lord Massusus, who clashed in a C&D Listed contest in April.
Mutassaref was sent off as favourite that day, despite giving 2lb to Lord Massusus, but proved a little too keen for his own good on his seasonal debut, and just got collared close home.
He seems to be getting better with age, with his best four RPRs coming last season (including two over course and distance), and he should have the measure of his old rival now off level weights, and can notch a fifth course win.
16:40 Leopardstown - Neo Smart @ 4/1
This mile-and-a-quarter handicap looks less competitive than usual, and it looks a good opportunity for Jim Bolger's progressive four-year-old Neo Smart to take back-to-back victories.
He went off favourite for a 7f handicap at the Curragh last time, and under a confident ride from Declan McDonagh, was pushed out to score cosily from an admittedly moderate field.
Although this is a better line-up, and he's been bumped up 8lb for winning, this still looks a field he can take care of if he stays the extra distance.
Although he hasn't run to his best over trips further than a mile in four attempts so far, he is related to two winners over this distance and further, and connections are obviously of the belief that he can improve for the step up.
