Here are the latest horse racing betting tips for Sunday's racing from Fontwell from Racing Post tipster Adrian Wall.
14:30 Fontwell - Elpologreg @ 9/2
15:00 Fontwell - Punta Del Este @ 20/1
15:30 Fontwell - Shengai Enki @ 8/1
14:30 Fontwell - Elpologreg @ 9/2
ELPOLOGREG will run from 3lb out of the weights in the 2m5½f handicap chase, but he showed enough promise on his last outing over course and distance to suggest he could be up to the task here.
The six-year-old gelding was given a very forceful ride from the front when finishing runner-up here last month.
He was no match for Peter Bowen's Fame And Fun on the day, beaten 14 lengths, but he was in turn nicely clear of the remaining runners.
That was a welcome return to form for this horse, who has been woefully out of form since his last success, which was at Fakenham in February of last year off a mark of 77.
He's still nicely treated here and should handle soft ground fine.
15:00 Fontwell - Punta Del Este @ 20/1
Five runners go to post for the Grade 2 National Spirit Hurdle over 2m3f and, although he has a bit to find on figures, PUNTA DEL ESTE is of interest on his first start for David Pipe since leaving Dan Skelton.
A three-time winner over hurdles, he rounded off last season with a win in a competitive handicap at Ayr off a mark of 128, while he went close when third at Carlisle on his return to action over 2m4f off 133 in November.
Punta Del Este has run well in a pair of handicaps at Haydock since then and enjoys soft ground.
It would be no surprise if he were up to making his presence felt in this company.
15:30 Fontwell - Shengai Enki @ 8/1
SHENGAI ENKI won back-to-back at Uttoxeter and Worcester in May and June of last year but went off the boil subsequently.
Nonetheless, he took a giant step back in the right direction when beaten only five lengths into fifth over 2m7f at Market Rasen last month.
He was ridden from mid-division and probably hit the front too soon approaching two from home, but rider Luke Scott will probably ensure he hangs on to him a little bit longer this time.
The drop in trip should also be a positive for the selection, who is a strong traveller.
Although he might prefer a sound surface, he does have form on soft ground and a mark of 108 shouldn't be beyond him. He can come out on top here.
